In this basic yet highly involved class, students will learn how to approach an astrological chart through a remedy lens. Topics will include strategic planning, symbolic substitution (the act of providing correct contexts for chart signatures), gem remedies, color theory and remediation, using composites and synastry as remedies, and much, much more.

By the end of this course, students will understand the factors and issues involved in relocation charts, how to identify themes, and how to synthesize this information into an interpretation of an astro*carto*graphy map. - basic astronomical principles involved in mapping techniques
- relation of mapping to natal chart construction and meaning
- relation and use of relocation charts in A*C*G
- themes connected with specific planet-angle combinations
- interpretation of parans, crossings, and shadowed planets
- analysis of natal charts for desirable planets to emphasize through relocation

This course revisits the theoretical basis and the evolution of aspects in astrology, presenting harmonic aspects in a practical and usable framework. Relying on astrological basics with concepts from sacred geometry, students will be taught to integrate aspects based upon non-zodiacal relationships, including quintiles, septiles, octiles, noviles and more. These harmonic aspects widen the astrological palette and enable the astrologer to quickly find previously hidden dimensions of personality.
Students will learn:
- How to integrate harmonic aspects into basic chart analysis.
- To present a solid rationale for using harmonic aspect.
- To demonstrate the efficacy of harmonic aspects.
- To bring harmonic aspects down to earth.
- To develop practice based upon established theory.

The Decennials, coming from the root (dec-) meaning ten, are a method of dividing our lives into decades of time, telling the stories of our life through the handing off of the planets from one to another, also known as planetary timelords.
They are attributed to the ancient Egyptian astrologers and were used by many Hellenistic authors as a central piece to their predictive practice.
In this course, we will uncover the ways every horoscope undergoes a unique sequence of decade and sub-decade periods, and through layering the timelords with their power at the birth, to their powers in their transits, we can uncover the ways our life unfolds in the decades and months of our lives!
At the end of the course, the student should fluently identify the strongest decennial releasing candidates, and release the planets through the main three levels of decennial timing and integrate one additional sublayer of their choice with the inception’s transits to identify:
- the prominent themes of any given time,
- the sequence of events in people’s lives by constantly referring to the previous and sequential time rulers,
- how transits modify the natal power of the timelords at the time of their activation,
- know and practice at least one of a few alternate systems for timing within smaller periods of time, according to a group of methods known as the ‘annual divisions’.

This foundational course introduces the history, philosophy, and core principles of Evolutionary Astrology, a modern, soul-centered approach to chart interpretation, that integrates spiritual, psychological, and karmic perspectives.
Rooted in a belief in reincarnation, Evolutionary Astrology views the natal chart as a reflection of the soul's journey across lifetimes. Students explore how every planet, sign, house, and aspect represent the soul's past life experiences with embedded messages of evolutionary goals and transformative steps.
The course addresses the relationship between fate and free will, introduces consciousness as a framework for understanding soul development, and explores the distinctive contributions of major teachers including Steven Forrest and Jeffrey Wolf Green.
By course completion, students will understand what distinguishes Evolutionary Astrology from other approaches and begin applying these principles to natal chart interpretation.

Study the historical practices of astrology with a focus on Hippocratic and Galenic medicine. Explore astrology's advent, essential developments, and the foundational personalities within systems of medical thought and care.
Upon completion of this course, successful learners will be able to:

- Discuss omen-based symbolism relative to functional magical-medical praxis.
- For herbal thought, explore the doctrine of signatures, botanical rulerships, and taxonomical relations between plant medicine and astrology

- Review systems of care that can be informed astrologically.

Astronomy is the foundation upon which the cathedral of Astrology is built. By understanding the scientific processes which turn the celestial spheres, philosophies and techniques of the practitioner are validated and edified.
In this course, students will learn the skill of chart visualization, build a robust understanding of astrology’s systems and rationales, gain the confidence to speak to skeptics and clients alike with authority, be guided in building a rewarding stargazing practice, and find deeper value in every other course in Kepler’s catalog.
By the end of this course, Students will:
- Be able to describe the sky of a chart they are interpreting poetically
- Feel confident that they recognize what they are looking at while stargazing
- Gain an internal sense of direction and spacial awareness for the ever shifting locations of the Luminaries and Planets
- Be able to speak confidently on scientific rationales behind their practices to skeptics and clients alike
- Have learned immense amounts of information but enjoyed that process

You may know how to read an astrology chart, but it takes great awareness to know how to synthesize it and communicate the wisdom to your clients effectively. How do you begin a consultation? How do you speak about challenging configurations? How do you address different cultural contexts? Astrology can be very revealing, transformative, and even powerful, but as a practitioner, you must know how to deliver this information in ways that empower your clients and certainly do no harm. This essential program will make you a better and more confident astrologer.
Over 10 weeks we will explore how to create a supportive environment and work on the most effective communication skills: how to properly develop rapport and find the right balance between engaging the client in dialogue and giving the astrological interpretations. This process requires mindfulness, inner work, and deepened awareness on the part of the astrologer. We will reflect on personal issues that may influence our client interactions. We will explore common challenges related to ethics, boundaries, cross-cultural issues, and the unconscious effect of language, personal beliefs, and philosophies as we deepen both awareness and practical skills.
Throughout this class, there will be lectures, group discussions, meditation, inner work, and time to practice giving and receiving readings with our peers.
This class is an OPA Consulting Skills parallel and will count towards their Certification Program.
