A brief introduction to the primary symbols used in astrology and how they work together, including planets, signs, houses and aspects.
This unit looks at Babylonian mathematics. This is the origins of our base 60 - in other words, telling time, longitude and latitude degrees and minutes as well as the degrees and minutes in your astrological chart. You will learn how a series of discoveries have enabled historians to decipher stone tablets and study the various techniques the Babylonians used for problem-solving and teaching. The Babylonian problem-solving skills have been described as remarkable and scribes of the time received a training far in advance of anything available in medieval Christian Europe 3000 years later.
Free Transition Class for Fundamentals Students
In order to re-organize our Natal Fundamentals curriculum, plus bring in some additional material, it will be necessary to offer a subsidiary class so that students who are transitioning into the new curriculum will not miss any of the material necessary to complete the Natal Fundamentals courses and Certificate program.
The free supplementary two-hour presentation will cover the new material on essential dignities and sect information that have been added to Fundamentals I: Introduction to Astrology.
