This course explores the historical and practical assessment of the body in relationship to the soul and spirit. While the material focuses on the Western tradition, it is also explored relative to the practices of China and India. In addition to astrological assessment, tools for remediation are addressed.


Learners will:

  1. Apply astrological tools to assess the body, spirit, and soul in different periods and culture
  2. Compare and contrast analysis of the body, spirit, and soul across periods and cultures
  3. Develop treatment plans based on astrological assessments

  1. Greece, India, and China at the Grand Mutation from Fire to Water
  2. Formalization of Method: Medieval Europe and Persia
  3. Renaissance and Early Modern period methods
  4. Remedial Methods using physical agents, diet, and herbs, concepts of an astrological medica materia
  5. Practicum, case presentations
