Jaimini astrology is a unique method of interpreting the chart in which the chart maintains certain elements of Parashari Astrology, but there are unique interpretational quirks. It uses a different system of planetary indicators, aspects are judged according to a house to house system, not planet to planet, and there are extra interpretational tool, and dasas are sign based as well.
This course will cover basic elements and how to interpret them within this context.
NOTE: There are some astrologers who advocate merging Parashari and Jaimini as one system, but the system is complicated for a beginner in using the Jaimini techniques. We will therefore, in this class, focus solely on the things that make Jaimini unique so the student can become familiar with the logic of Jaimini astrology.
